Laws of Conduct

La` Cocoa Villa is a land built by the people for the people. All the law are set forth to ensure a safe neighborhood for the Sims that live here. This nation is also built on choice and free will for all acts with good attention. All laws that are broken within this thread shall be tried and convicted in a court of laws by ones fellow Sims.
With that said let me run down the Laws of Conduct and their Consequences, while RPG in La` Cocoa Villa.

1. Sims Should not Kill. Killing is punishable by death unless one can prove it was in self-defense.

2. Sims should not steal. Stealing is punishable by 4+yrs incarceration; 5+yrs if Sim has committed armed Robbery.

3. Sims should not posses any illegal substance. Selling non-prescription pills or herbs is punishable by 4+years incarceration, 5+yrs for all other illegal substance. Being caught with drugs in ones possession without the intent to sell is punishable by 6 months per gram.

4. Sims shouldn’t assault a fellow Sim. If assaulted Sim chooses to press charges against it’s attacker, one could face up to 7+yrs of incarceration, 10+yrs if assault with deadly weapon.

5. Sim should vote. Every Sim will, have the right to suggest changes or new development to vote on, regardless of sex, status, income, religion or race. Also ever Sim has the right to gather for peacefully protest against any injustice.

6. Sim shouldn’t engage in any sexual behavior with minor. At the request of the parent this could be punishable by 5+yrs incarceration.

7. Sim shouldn’t vandalize, destroy or trespass against any public or privet property. This is punishable by 6 month to 1yrs incarceration.

8. Sims should be able to practice any religion one chooses too. Any harm done to a group of Sims base on their race, cultural or religion is consider a hate crime and is punishable by 5+yrs incarceration.

9. Sims should abide by any verbal or sign contract. Sims should read and seek counseling before agreeing to any contract, (which is view as a legal document) because one will be accountable to follow all stipulation in said contract. Breaking a Legally bond contract is punishable by 2yrs incarceration, unless the party that drew it up breaks contract.

10. Sims shouldn’t join together in a violent group such as a Gang. If a group of Sims is proven to be in connection with any criminal acts that is punishable by 3+yrs incarceration.

What is the Law if it don’t protect everyone Kids, Women, Men, Elderly and Criminals.
As a citizen of La` Cocoa Villa you have the right to fight any case, if every excused by the Law Enforcement, and to do so you’ll need a Lawyer.
Now for a police to bust you doing something illegal they have to be in that party of the city within minutes of you doing the excused act.

They must also provide proof of illegal actives being committed by you. They can do so by providing evidences (What you wrote), or by Witness (who you wrote it to) or by association (link past events).
All this can work in your disfavor unless you have a trained lawyer to defend your case, but they don’t come cheep.
